My wife and I recently sold our house through Kimberly, and have to give her the highest accolades for professionalism, integrity, patience and understanding. It was an extremely stressful time for us, since in addition to selling our house, we were making an international move (to Canada) as well as dealing with the immigration process for me, and trying to find a place to live in Canada. From the first phone call and visit, Kimberly presented a clear and thorough explanation of the process, the market trends, the plan for preparing and presenting the house, etc. She had a wealth of ideas for us to utilize, and we worked together to implement the plan.

There were times when we were nearly overwhelmed by the stress, and Kimberly weathered all of the frustration we expressed with a calm and presence that was absolutely reassuring to us. She was able to keep our "eyes on the prize" through the whole process, and we ended up getting an offer above our asking price within days of the listing. The closing process went as well as could be expected, and we have now nearly completed our relocation to Canada.

While my testimonial does not end with the keys to a new house, I wanted to at least thank and acknowledge Kimberly Schmidt for her help, patience and professionalism during the home buying process.  I have used two other agents in the past and both were nightmare experiences.  By the time I walked into Kimberly's office, I was a jaded skeptic and probably a huge critic of the services provided by real estate agents in San Diego.

Clearly, this is not a job for Kimberly, it's a profession and her calling.  She understood the market and more importantly, was not afraid to tell us which homes she felt were good investments versus bad.  At one property, Kimberly walked around the lot and gave us her perspective on the value of the home and the issues that may have come up if we occupied the property (foundation issues).  Kimberly, unlike most of the agents I have dealt with, was more interested in us making a sound investment in a home we would enjoy, than simply closing a deal.  I did not feel like I was on a used car lot with a slick talking salesman.  Her honesty was refreshing and when my credit is better, I will return to Kimberly for the keys to my new home.

Kimberly helped my son and I buy a really great house in El Cajon. Because my son and I work full time, we needed help with coordination for the home inspection, termite treatment, lender issues, escrow, painter, electrician and roofer. Kim ran the block on all of it, meeting with these vendors and reporting the results to us, and then coordinating the services and repairs.

Buying a house requires having several of balls in the air at once and being able to coordinate all those items coming together to close on time. Kimberly exceeded those expectations. She is extremely helpful in explaining the how and why of every step in the process.

Kimberly is the perfect blend of a professional Real Estate Agent and supportive friend in the buying/selling process! She sold our house at nearly bottom of the market when seemingly nobody else could. I recently bought my first home in November 2010.  Kimberly was my real estate agent and I couldn't say greater things about her.  I seriously knew NOTHING (but what I watched on HGTV) before buying a house.  I literally decided one weekend during the summer that I wanted one, and via Yelp I found Kimberly.  I met with her and she handed me a very informative binder of the home buying process, as well as making me really think about my wants and likes,  my expectations, and really just wanted to get to know me.  She was definitely very patient with me, I even left for Africa for a month, and when I got back we went right back on the saddle to find me a home.  

My escrow experience was a bit unconventional, with events manifesting that were out of my control and Kimberly's control, but she stayed calm for me while I was on the brink of insanity.  She was constantly keeping me updated on the process which I appreciated a ton!  The home buying experience can definitely be an emotional and challenging process (sorry folks...but you don't just sign on the dotted line!)....but you definitely need an experienced and calm realtor like Kimberly!  I highly recommend her, and consider her a friend now!  I love my home...so thanks Kimberly!

My wife and I just finished buying our first house with Kimberly, and though we haven't bought before, our experience with her was absolutely as good as it gets! We had several problems through the escrow process that were out of our control and Kimberly handled all of it and kept us up to date with what was going on. On our initial meeting, she listened to what we were looking for and found properties that met our needs... I don't feel we were wasting our time at any of them. She answered all of our questions (which, as first time buyers, was A LOT!) thoroughly and I never felt like we didn't know what was going on with our transaction from start to finish. As my first home purchase is nearing the finish line, I can now take a quick look back at the process.

When I first met Kimberly, she had me fill out a quick questionnaire. Standard questions about the house that I was looking for, but also little questions like, "do you want me to text message you new information?"

I can say that Kimberly is on top of things 110%. I never waited more than a few hours for an email back and usually my texts were responded to in minutes. I never felt that Kimberly was more than a phone call away at any time.

I was not all that nervous about the process. I have an uncanny ability to see something and quickly weigh my options and make a decision. What I was nervous about was all the associated procedures in house buying like the escrow process and all the paperwork. Kimberly provided me with a binder that had all the answers, but more importantly told me, "If you don't want to read it, you don't have to because we will go through every piece of paper in person and I will explain everything." She's not lying. She knows her paperwork very well and does a great job of explaining everything I was signing.

As I stated before, we're nearing the home stretch, and I cannot express how happy I am with Kimberly's services. She has treated me with the utmost respect and has made sure that I was fully comfortable with every step of the process. It's been a pleasure!!
